Sri Harmandir Sahib Temple is renowned as the Golden Temple, which is the one of the most important pilgrim place for Sikh religion. It is located on an artificial island and connected the shore by a bridge. The temple was established by Guru Ram Das (the fourth Guru in Sikhism), he was the founder of Amritsar. The construction work on the Sarovar and the town was started simultaneously in 1570 and the both projects were completed in 1577. Later in 1588, Guru Arjan was started the construction of the Gurdwara and completed in 1604. He installed the Guru Granth Sahib in it and appointed Baba Buddha as the first Granthi on the same time. Bathing in Amrit Sarover is an old tradition and believe that the water of the sarover has healing power. Golden Temple is one of the most visited place of India after Taj Mahal, not only Sikh religion but the people from other religion also visit here.

On arrival at Delhi, our representative will greet and welcome you with our Indian tradition after your arrival. On reaching Delhi drive to Amritsar. It will take 7 hrs. approx. Then you will be escorted to your accommodation. Check into your accommodation and take rest after your long flight journey. Fresh up and then proceed for Amritsar Local sightseeing.

Have your breakfast and proceed for Amritsar sightseeing. In the afternoon, take your lunch and then continue for the remaining sightseeing. After the end of the tour, return back to the hotel.
