Later you will be escorted by our Tour Guide and will be taken for Agra sightseeing. Today's tour highlights will be the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Itmad-ud-Daula Fort.

It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal, is a must sight-seeing for all visitors to India and one of the most beautiful architectural achievements in the world. The Taj Mahal is considered to be the most popular tourist spot in the world. It is considered to be a symbol of enduring love. The Taj Mahal is made up of opulent white marble and is a symbol of sentiments, purity, and simplicity. This is the only monument that has touched the hearts of people from all corners of the world. The Taj Mahal spreads across almost 42 acres of land and it is believed that this particular spot was chosen by the emperor because of its peaceful and soothing effect. Being a Seven Wonders of the World, it stands as a tribute to undying love.
Agra Fort: This fort was constructed by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D and it includes much other architecture like the Moti Masjid and Musanman Burj. It is believed that Shah Jahan was imprisoned and died here.
Itmad-ud-Daula Fort: Itmad-ud-Daula Fort also sometimes described as a Jewel box is a Mughal mausoleum located in the city of Agra. It is also famous with another name Baby Taj as it is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal.
Later visit the local market to experience the fine Marble Art work which is still being done in Agra by the descendants of the families of builders and artists of the Taj Mahal.

After Breakfast, check-out from the Hotel and drive to Samode. En-route we will visit Fateh Pur Sikri and the highlights will be Fatehpur Sikri and Buland Darwaza.
Fatehpur Sikri is a fascinating ghost city and it was built in the 16th century. Mughal Emperor Akbar, at the age of 26 years did not have a successor and founded this historical site, Fatehpur Sikri. He went to a saint called Shaikh Salim Chishti who used to live in a city called Sikri. His blessing gave Akbar 3 sons. In return as a gesture, Akbar built a whole new city in Sikri. Akbar named this new capital Fatehpur Sikri or the City of Victory. Fatehpur Sikri is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendor.
Buland Darwaza: The meaning of Buland is strong or huge in Persian. Buland Darwaza is located in the Fatehpur Sikri and it is one of the magnificent Mughal architectures available in Agra. It is also called as Gate of Magnificence. This beautiful Mughal structure is made up of Red and buff sandstone and is adorned by white and black marble. This massive gateway holds a reputation for being the tallest gateway in the whole world.

This temple dates back to the 15th Century and is famed for its unique architecture. Ranakpur Temple is devoted to Lord Adinath. This temple is constructed on an elevated platform which has nine basements and around 84 statues of Gods. The temple has 1444 pillars which are beautifully adorned.
