Apart from Hinduism, it is also one of the holiest places for Jainism and Buddhism as well.
Located at the confluence of sacred Ganga, Yamuna, and one of the mythical invisible rivers Saraswati, Allahabad is one of the largest cities of Uttar Pradesh. It is also known as Prayag, Allahabad is known for Kumbh Mela, held every 12 years at Prayag or Allahabad.
