Delhi has two different faces the “old” and the “new” and each of her faces will give you a completely different experience. New Delhi offers you Modern Architecture, Luxury Hotels, classy café, bars, and business centers. On the other side, the face of Old Delhi offers you a splendid history of Delhi which served as the capital of Islamic India.  At the end of the tour return to your Hotel and relax. After Breakfast, check-out from the Hotel and drive to Rishikesh. En-route we will visit Haridwar which is the first step to enter the state of Uttrakhand (Land of Gods). In Haridwar, we will visit Har Ki Pauri (Steps reaching God). It is believed that a visit to Haridwar is not completed if you have not visited Har Ki Pauri. It is a precise spot where the holy river Ganges leaves the mountains and enters the plains. Bharat Mata Mandir is a religious shrine dedicated to Mother India by her devoted patriotic nationals. Sapt Rishi Ashram is a well-preserved compound with several rooms to stay.  It also has a Sanskrit school within the complex for poor children. Later we will proceed to Rishikesh. On your arrival at Rishikesh, check-in at your pre-reserved Hotel and freshen up. After freshen-up, you will be escorted by our Tour Guide and will be taken to the Triveni Ghat to attend the Evening Aarti (Prayer). Here you will you will see thousands of devotees attending evening prayers by flaming oil lamps in worship of River Ganges. Watching this beautiful ceremony which is accompanied by lights, drums, and chanting, the entire Ghat (Banks of River Ganges) is lit with oil lamps floating on the river.

Tour Highlights: Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Swarga Ashram, and Neelkanth Mahadev Temple 

After Breakfast, you will be escorted by our Tour Guide and will be taken for Rishikesh Sightseeing. Today’s attractions will be Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Swarga Ashram, and Neelkanth Mahadev Temple. Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula are iron suspension bridges that connect two sides of the holy river Ganges for commutation.  Swarg Ashram is a beautiful spiritual shrine located in Rishikesh at the foothills of the Himalayas. For ages, famous Saints and mahatmas have been doing meditation here. Neelkanth Temple in Rishikesh is amongst the top sacred worship places in Hinduism. It is located on a hill which is above Swarg Ashram and the spot of the temple is magnificent as it is surrounded by mountains.  

At the end of the tour, return to Haridwar and enjoy your lunch at a nice Indian restaurant before heading to the train station for your train to Varanasi. After Lunch, board your train and depart from Varanasi. Here you have completed your fourth day of the Sacred India Tour.

After Breakfast, you will be escorted by our Tour Guide for the local sightseeing of Agra. Today’s Tour Highlights will be the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Itmad-ud-Daula Fort.

Taj Mahal: Visit the most beautiful monument of India and one of the Seven Wonders of the World, The Taj Mahal.  It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is a sight-seeing for all visitors to India and one of the most beautiful architectural achievements in the world. It is considered to be a symbol of enduring love. The Taj Mahal is made up of opulent white marble and is a symbol of sentiments, purity, and simplicity. This is the only monument that has touched the hearts of people from all corners of the world.

Important Note: The Taj Mahal remains closed every Friday.

Agra Fort: After lunch, we will proceed to Agra Fort. This fort was constructed by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D and it includes much other architecture like the Moti Masjid and Musanman Burj. It is believed that Shah Jahan was imprisoned and died here.

Itmad-ud-Daula Fort: Itmad-ud-Daula Fort also sometimes described as a Jewel box is a Mughal mausoleum located in the city of Agra. It is also famous with another name Baby Taj as it is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal. 

Later visit the local market to experience the fine Marble Art work which is still being done in Agra by the descendants of the families of builders and artists of the Taj Mahal.

After Breakfast, check-out from the Hotel and drive to Jaipur. En-route we will visit Fatehpur Sikri.

Fatehpur Sikri is a fascinating ghost city and it was built in the 16th century. It is located at a distance of 37 km from Agra City. Mughal Emperor Akbar, at the age of 26 years did not have a successor and founded this historical site, Fatehpur Sikri. He went to a saint called Shaikh Salim Chishti who used to live in a city called Sikri. His blessing gave Akbar 3 sons. In return as a gesture, Akbar built a whole new city in Sikri. Akbar named this new capital Fatehpur Sikri or the City of Victory. Fatehpur Sikri is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendor.

Tour Highlights: Ajmer Sharif Shrine, Pushkar Lake, Brahma Temple, Pushkar Fair and Local Market

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Pushkar. En-route we will visit Ajmer Sharif. 

Ajmer Sharif: Ajmer Sharif is a respected shrine of Saint Moinuddin Chishti located at Ajmer. The shrine has the grave of the honored Saint Moinuddin Chishti. Ajmer City is surrounded by the Aravalli Hills. It is a pilgrimage centre for the shrine of the Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and is also the base station for visiting Pushkar.

Drive further to Pushkar. On your arrival at Pushkar, check-in to your pre-reserved Hotel and freshen up. Later you will be escorted by our Tour Guide and will be taken for local sightseeing of Pushkar.

Pushkar Lake: According to Hindu mythology, Lord Brahma is the creator of the Universe and Lotus is the birthplace of Lord Brahma.  It is believed that at the time when the Universe was created, a Lotus flower sprang from the navel of Lord Vishnu (One of the Trinity Gods) and gave birth to Lord Brahma. Then Lord Brahma had thrown this Lotus to select a suitable spot.  Lotus struck at this particular place of Pushkar and water came out from the flower and gave it the shape of holy Pushkar Lake which to date is valued as a pilgrimage place for Hindus.  Apart from pilgrims thousands of foreign travelers also visit Pushkar to take a Holy bath in this sacred Lake.

Brahma Temple: It is an important pilgrimage place for the Hindus and is located in the Pushkar. This is the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in India. This place is filled with natural beauty and it holds and has a special existence in the hearts of Hindus. The surroundings of the Temple are breathtakingly beautiful and is surrounded by the Aravalli Hills.

Pushkar Fair is famous across the Globe and thousands of Domestic & International devotees or travelers visit Pushkar on this occasion. If you are lucky to be in Pushkar in October–November then you can also become a part of this world-famous Pushkar Fair.
