The Gir National Park was declared as a sanctuary in 1965. The Gir National Park is also known as Sasan Gir which is situated in the state of Gujarat. Besides, being the last abode of Asiatic lions, which is a unique gift of nature. This park is also sole home to other species. During monsoons, visitors can enjoy about 200 varieties of migratory birds in this park including the peafowl, crested serpent eagle, jungle bush quail, doves and others. There are more than 180 pure Asiatic lion in this forest. The forest is dense surrounding with flora and fauna.

Here you will experience the rural India while walking or driving and passing through the villages around and will see the historical architectures, old houses, temples and water bodies. The highlights will be Darbargadh, Chattries (Royal Cenotaphs), Mansarovar Lake and Kathiawadi Horses. This historic palace is still occupied by the Sayla ruling family. In the afternoon, enjoy a regional cuisine at a nice Indian restaurant and continue to explore the rural life of India. At the end of the tour, return to your Hotel in Ahmedabad and relax.
