Situated at the edge of the Eastern Himalayan biodiversity hotspot and lies in the flood plains of Brahmaputra, Kaziranga National Park is one of most popular wildlife sanctuary in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of the state of Assam. It is also an UNESCO world heritage site. It is renowned for great one-horned rhinoceroses. It is at perfect geographical location the chances of the visibility of diversified species are very high. Kaziranga National Park is surrounded by tall elephant grass, marshland, and dense tropical moist broadleaf forests which is rich in vast flora and fauna. The national park is spread over 480 square kilometer.
One of the major National park of Assam, Nameri National Park is located in Sonitpur District. It is situated on the foothill of the eastern Himalayas adjoins with the Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary of Arunachal Pradesh. This amazing wildlife sanctuary is spread over an area of area of over 1000 square km. It is surrounded by semi-evergreen, moist forests, which is the home of elephant, the tiger, leopard, sambar, dhole, Indian wild bison, leopard cat, muntjac, gaur, clouded leopard, Himalayan black bear and wild boar etc. ‘NORTH–EAST WILDLIFE TOUR’ will give you the chance to explore the amazing wildlife at Kaziranga National Park and Nameri National Park. Have your breakfast and then drive to Shillong. It will take 3 hrs. approx. On reaching Shillong, check into your accommodation and relax. Then proceed for Shillong sightseeing. In the afternoon, take your lunch and then continue for the remaining sightseeing. After the end of the tour, return back to the hotel.

On reaching Kaziranga, Assam check into your resort/hotel and relax. Then proceed to explore the natural beauty and home of Asian One-horned Rhino.

Have your breakfast and check out from the hotel and drive to Nameri National Park. It will take 3 hrs. approx. On reaching Nameri National Park, check into your accommodation and relax. Then proceed to the eastern part of Assam foothills of the eastern Himalayas. This park is famous for Elephants and varieties of birds. It is a Tiger reserved National Park in Assam. Eco camps are also available to stay near the National Park. There is also a tribe village. Best time to visit is from November to May. You can have sunbath in some section of the park. Explore the park and then back to the camp or hotel.

Have your breakfast and proceed inside the forest and there you can have jeeps and SUV’s safaris which are well protected by iron grill. Also enjoy the white water rafting, fishing and other activities.
