Itinerary Details

Welcome to Delhi - The Grand Capital of India. On arrival at the airport / railway station in Delhi, begin your 'The Golden Triangle ' tour. You will be met and transferred to your hotel.                                                                     Enjoy a city tour of Delhi (Private).
Later, enjoy a city tour of Delhi including visit to Raj Ghat, Red Fort and drive along the past through the Jama Masjid, India Gate, the President's House, Parliament House and the Government Secretariat Buildings.
Note: Red Fort remains closed on Monday.

The evening is at leisure for independent activities.

Overnight stay in Delhi.
 

Transfer from hotel in Delhi to hotel in Agra, en route visit Mathura Temple (Private).
After breakfast, drive to the historical and romantic city of Agra. En route visit Mathura Temple. Mathura is the abode of Lord Krishna and has a great religious sanctity among the Hindus. Further, continue your drive to Agra. On arrival, check into the hotel.
Visit Agra Fort and Dayal Bagh (Private).
Later in the day, visit the Agra Fort and Dayal Bagh.                                       The massive red sandstone Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a hilltop citadel with fabulous courtyards, fountains and gates and the best example of Mughal Civil Architecture commissioned by emperor Akbar.       Dayal Bagh, known simply as Swami Bagh, is the headquarters of the Radhasoami sect. This huge white marble mausoleum houses the tomb of Swamiji Maharaj (or Shiv Dayal Singh Seth), the founder of the Radhasoami faith.

Overnight stay in Agra.
 

Transfer from hotel in Agra to hotel in Jaipur, en route visit Taj Mahal and Fatehpur Sikri (Private).
This morning, after breakfast, visit the legendary Taj Mahal, built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century as a shrine for everlasting love to his queen, Mumtaz Mahal. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is also one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Later, proceed to the Pink City of Jaipur. En route visit Fatehpur Sikri a perfect example of fusion between the Hindu figurative decoration and the Mughal geometrical pattern.
Thereafter, continue your drive to Jaipur. On arrival, check into your hotel.
Note: Taj Mahal remains closed on Friday.

The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

Overnight stay in Jaipur.
 

Visit to the Amer Fort followed by the City Palace and Jantar Mantar (Private).
This morning, after breakfast, drive to the ancient capital of Amer to see the fabulous Amer Fort followed by a visit to the City Palace and Jantar Mantar.
The Amer Fort is also known as the Amber fort. The construction of the fort was started by Raja Man Singh in the 16th century and was completed by Sawai Jai Singh in the 18th century. The palace here has been wonderfully built and has an intelligent design. It has a four storied layout and each level has its own courtyard. The fort provides an amazing vantage point to view the entire expanse of Amer.
Later, visit the City Palace which is a splendid example of the foresight that Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II had. It is a palace complex that includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palace and other buildings in Jaipur.
Lastly, visit Jantar Mantar or The Astronomical Observatory, which is a collection of architectural astronomical instruments, built by Sawai Jai Singh, as he was particularly interested in learning about astronomy. It has been inscribed on the World Heritage List.

Today, bid farewell to your 'The Golden Triangle ' tour, as you are transferred to the airport / railway station in Delhi.
